Marc attends 7th Sino-German Symposium in Dalian

From May 11 to 14, Marc traveled to Dalian to take part in the 7th Joint Sino-German Symposium on Advanced and Correlative Electron Microscopy and Catalysis. The event brought together researchers from China and Germany for a few days of insightful talks, lively discussions, and exciting developments in the world of electron microscopy and catalysis.

Jointly organized by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and FZ Jülich, the symposium provided a fantastic platform for scientific exchange and collaboration. The atmosphere was both intellectually stimulating and genuinely welcoming.

A heartfelt thank-you goes to the Co-Chairs, Feng Wang, Rafal E. Dunin-Borkowski and Marc Heggen

Special thanks also to the local organizers, Qiang Guo and Chuan-Nan Xiong, for being such exceptional hosts.

From logistics to hospitality, everything ran seamlessly—making it easy for participants to focus on what mattered most: science, collaboration, and connection.
